Timothy M. Helfet was CEO of Rysher Entertainment until March, 2006. Helfet joined Rysher in 1991 as Chief Operating Officer, before being promoted to President and CEO in 1997. Helfet is an investor and principal in various privately held companies and has served as a member on numerous boards for both profit and non-profit companies.

A native of South Africa, Helfet graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1972 with a B.A. in Economics and an M.B.A. in 1975. Married for 31 years to Vanessa, they have two children, Gabriela and Daniela.
