Bradley Bender

President/CEO/Founder

Bradley Dean Bender has over 20 years of experience in the area of trauma orthopedics and has experience in large corporations and medical start-up companies.
Prior to Tri-Medics^®, Mr. Bender served as President of Medartis, Inc., beginning in 2008. Medartis, Inc. is owned by Medartis, AG, headquartered in Basel, Switzerland, with its US headquarters in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Medartis is a global manufacturer of orthopedic implants for the facial skeleton, forearm and hand.

Mr. Bender managed all U.S. operations of Medartis, Inc., while working closely with Medartis, AG in Switzerland. In addition to overseeing the daily operations of the company, he was responsible for developing partnerships with surgeons, residency programs as well as other companies, whose offerings complemented the Medartis range of services and products. He managed a $20 million budget and in his two years at the helm, grew annual sales from $3.4 million to $12.2 million.
Prior to Medartis, Mr. Bender spent 10 years at Synthes USA as a sales representative, where he grew his business from $800,000 annually to $7 million, controlling 90% of the trauma business in his territory. He was promoted to Area Manager, and in his final three years, managed 16 reps. spanning three states, with $16 million in sales.

From 1996-1998, Mr. Bender was the founder and president of Atlantic Medical International, where he built a distribution business from scratch in Bermuda, reaching $10 million in annual sales after two years.

Mr. Bender is a graduate of Whittier College, located in Whittier, California. He was an award winning linebacker on the Whittier College Football team and has remained a sports enthusiast. He continues to support his college football program, is a supporter of Physicians for Peace, and the Salvation Army.
