The Company
Tri-Medics™ patented technology is the application of flexibility resilient (spring) stainless steel in the manufacturer of it's products, as opposed to hardened, inflexible stainless steel forgings used in the manufacturer of conventional scissors and needle holders. Unlike conventional instruments, Tri-Medics™ instruments are laser-cut or stamped from "spring" stainless steel strips. For example, flexible steel allows the Tri-Medics™ Needle Holders to securely hold a larger range of needles, from "O" to 7/O sutures, without deforming, thereby allowing one instrument to replace as many as three traditional instruments. Finally, the instruments are light weight and many first time users think they are titanium.
Positioning
Tri-Medics™ is planning to enter the market by focusing on surgical specialities that will be particulary attracted to the features and benefits of the technology. The Company has identified Plastic, Hand, Vascular, & Cardio-Vascular surgery, as the specialities for the initial product launch. We will focus on defining a "procedural set" for each speciality.
